Dorothy Canfield Fisher Historical Portrayal and Friends of the Vermont State House Annual Meeting

All who support the mission of the Friends of the Vermont State House are invited to attend the annual meeting and program in the Senate Chamber, followed by a reception with refreshments in the Cedar Creek Room.  The business portion of the meeting will include a vote on proposed revised bylaws (text in our "news" section) and election of officers.

The program will allow Vermonters to meet the writer Dorothy Canfield Fisher, for whom Vermont's prize for children's literature is names.  Mrs. Fisher is brought to life by Friends Trustee Helene Lang.

The business meeting begins sharply at 2:00 and is expected to be brief, followed by a historical portrayal of about one-half hour.

Please join us for this informative event.  Note that absolutely no food or drink is allowed in the senate chamber.  Light refreshments will be provided during a social reception in the Cedar Creek Room after the program.
