Support the Friends of the Vermont State House

Membership was replaced by donors with the adoption of new Bylaws at the 2005 Annual Meeting. Our donors can share the excitement of restoration and discovery of the past. Just print out the Donor Form and mail it to us with payment.

All Donors and Volunteers will still receive a 10% discount in the gift shop. All will receive invitations to any special events, periodic news, and information about future needs. You will be sent a card and new donors will receive a small decal. You will receive invitations to occasional upcoming events, any newsletter, and a discount on purchases from Under-the-Dome gift shop.

A few details of the restoration are still missing, and conservation, as well as appropriate comfortable furnishings, are needed. We will continue to search for portraits of important Vermonters, especially governors, missing from the collection. We also sponsor educational activities and programs.

Intimate Grandeur, an elegantly illustrated large book about the Vermont State House, by David Schütz, State Curator, and Nancy Graff will be available in 2010. We will also update the 1981 THE VERMONT STATE HOUSE
A History & Guide
, which has been out of print for several decades.
